Peter Kinane's boar scoring 31 4/8th is top of our list of tuskers which score over 25 Douglas points, the minimum points required to enter.
This book contains 25 Red stags over 200 Douglas Points, headed by our current number one with a score in excess of 300 Douglas.
Our top 10 bull Tahr are all over the 40 Douglas mark, heading list are two 14 inch monsters.
Our Tahr records are looking great.
This is one of New Zealand's most elusive deer species, consequently only 6 entries are currently in our Rusa records.
Our Sambar records have grown quickly over the last few years
with three sets of antlers going over the 200 Douglas Score mark
This section currently contains ten Chamois bucks which score over the minimum entry score of 25 Douglas points.
The top four Fallow entries in this record book have come in the last 2 years and the Fallow book continues to change rapidly.
Another one of our very sought after and elusive deer species, the Whitetail book at present still only has 7 entries.
We have 10 Sika which meet the minimum score of 140 to get into the book. With our top Sika head scoring 174 ½ Douglas we are yet to crack the magic 200 Douglas mark.
26 Wild Goats made the grade at over 106 Douglas Score with an impressive 127 3/8th 1st place holder taken on the Coromandel in 1994.
Only 2 animals so far are entered in this record book however they are from 2 different hybrid mixes
Although not part of our game award system or hard copy record book system this is a record of those members who have taken genuine feral Merino Rams for mainland New Zealand and the Chatham Islands
